The July Residential numbers are out and they are as follows
Number of Active Listings: 443 down from 478 in 2009
35 Listings sold in July 2010 verses 39 in 2009
The average selling prices dropped to $62,687.00 from $79,973.00
The number of sales under 99,000.00 fell by 3 to 28. The number of homes sold bewteen $100,000 to $199,999 ROSE to 7 from 4 in 2009.
YEAR TO DATE: The number of sales in 2010 is 232 vs. 243 in 2009. In addition the average sale price fell as well by $5,000.00 to $72,452.00.

1- sweet onion sliced thin
Toss the above in a heat proof dish
In a sauce pan heat 1-Cup sugar or splenda
1-Cup Vinigar
1-Tsp, Celery Seed
Bring to a boil then poor over cukes and onions. Refrigerate until cooled

RD Funding
RD funding is a government program by the USDA that makes housing affordable and possible for lower income buyers in rural America. It is a program that has become very popular in this area. It is the most popular finance program available and it is out of money. We ae waiting for the US Legislatures to approve the renewal of the funding for this program
We believe that this will stop what real estate is selling. Currently, 75% of the sales at Midwestern Realty involve RD loans. We are urging our law makers to bring this issue back to the front and approve it for the next year.
