FORECLOSURES 2011
Unfortunately the new continues to worsen about foreclosures. A year ago we predicted that 2010 would bring an end to the foreclosure crisis, however with the Federal and State governments trying to slow this down by post-poning foreclosures and halting some for 3 months, we did not see an end to the crisis. Now that most of those actions have expired, we are told to expect a flood of foreclosed property to hit the market in 2011. The nation wide estimate is 1.2 million homes. Locally we are expecting to see higher end homes in the foreclosure pool in 2011. Check our website for continued updates.

September Statistics
The September Branch County statistics are now out. The average sale priced dropped just a little. The number of sales were equal to 2009 and the number of properties available for sale are dropping. That is good news becasue as the inventory drops, prices should increase. We are encouraged by these numbers and hope that they continue for October
